My 1 to 1 make-up tutorials are designed to work around you and your needs. We will talk through the reasons why you feel the need the help and the areas you're most concerned about.
I will look at your current make-up bag so that you can practice with products you already own, but my kit will be on hand to fill any gaps or if your want to try new things. You can then build a shopping list of products you need to buy.
You're welcome to film parts of the tutorial to help as a reminder whem practicing on your own. I bring a ring light with a phone holder to make recording elements easier.
I will sit you in front of a mirror (maginified available if needed) and will demonstrate on one side of your face and you will apply it to the other side. This way you can feel how it should feel when you do it yourself. I will watch your technique and help you to find ways of making the application easier and simplifying it for you.
We will play with looks to suit you, from a simple daytime eye to something more daring for a party or event. Or maybe you desperately want to achieve the infamous smokey eye or a retro feline flick?
We will also chat through your skincare regime. Good skincare doesn't have to be expensive to be good but missing out a few key steps could be the secret you're missing...
It wll be a bit of 'you time' to really learn the art of applying your own make-up, at your own pace and working to your budget.
Some products can be ordered directly with me if you particularly like these products or you can create your own shopping list and hit the shops There is an option to book a separate personal make-up shopping trip. This can be booked by the hour, where I will help you find all the items on the list whilst having that little bit of back ground knowledge about your likes and dislikes that the ladies on the make-up counters won't have. Prices start at £30 per hour for your personal shopping experience and is sold completely separately to the tutorial.
Tutorials can be tailored to suit you, so if you're getting married and would like your bridesmaid to be taught to do your make-up then this is of course perfectly fine too, it takes marginally longer for a tutorial like this but this is just to ensure you're 100% happy with the end result and may want to play around with looks a little more.
I can offer tutorials for 2 or more people, or you can book a party if there's more than 3 of you. With more than 3 people I would work on a model and you can watch and take notes, it's less personal, but might suit you for a girly night in.
