A non-refundable booking fee of £50.00 is required to secure your wedding date, by bank transfer or cheque. Please note that until this booking fee is paid your date may be discussed with other interested parties. The booking fee secures your wedding date with me and covers admin fees, this fee will be deducted from your final bill.

A non-refundable booking fee of 50% is required when booking tutorials or make-overs, this will be deducted from the final bill. This booking fee doesn't apply when purchasing sessions with vouchers as the fee is then due upfront.

All trial fees must be paid on the date of the trial or before, I will notify you of these charges on booking. The final balance to be paid 4 weeks prior to the wedding date either by a cleared cheque or bank transfer.

 

MINIMUM SPEND

Due to high demand I have a minimum spend. For Friday -  Sunday weddings in high season (March - September) the minimum spend is £300 (on the day charges), Monday - Thursday (March to September) £250. If your wedding date is in low season (October - February) Friday - Sunday £250, Monday to Thursday the minimum spend is £225 (on the day charges). Please note during busy periods it might not always be possible for me to schedule trials at the weekend, particularly Saturdays but I will aim to book these quite far in advance to avoid any issues with this. As an addition I will provide you with a custom made wedding morning schedule to ensure everything runs smoothly. 

 

TRAVEL COSTS

Travel will be charged at £1 per mile from TA24 5DW.  This is charged one way only

 

All of the above is subject to availability. Please note April - September is high season and early booking (more than 9 months) is advised to avoid disappointment. All quotes will be sent in writing via email.

 

POSTPONING YOUR WEDDING

If you need to postpone your wedding / event with me, then provided I am free and your new date is within 12 months of your original date then no further charges will be added to your booking

If you need to postpone your wedding / event more than 12 months from your original date then inflation charges will apply.

If you need to postpone your wedding / event and I'm not free then I would endeavor to cover this with a member of my team at South West Bridal Hair and Make-up. Please note travel charges may change and would be payable by you. If you don’t want to go ahead with a member of my team then this would be classed as a cancellation. (Please see cancellation terms).

 

CANCELLING YOUR BOOKING LESS THAN 4 WEEKS PRIOR TO YOUR WEDDING DATE

If you cancel your booking with any member of the team less than 4 weeks before your wedding / event date then the full remaining balance is due.

 

CANCELLING YOUR BOOKING LESS THAN 8 WEEKS PRIOR TO YOUR WEDDING DATE

If you cancel your booking with any member of the team less than 8 weeks before your wedding / event date 50% of the remaining balance is due.

 

CANCELLING IN THE CASE OF A GLOBAL PANDEMIC

If you are forced to cancel (not postpone) your wedding / event due to a global pandemic, and the date of your wedding / event falls during a government lockdown period, meaning legally your wedding / event cannot go ahead, then all payments made beyond the booking fee and trial are refundable. Trial payments and booking fees remain non-refundable due to work being undertaken equating to these amounts.
