LASH LIFTS

How long does it last?

Can I wear mascara over the top?

What is a lash lift?

How much is it?

Do I need a patch test?

A lash lift is treatment that involves perming your existing lashes. Perfect for someone that wants a bit of impact but nothing artifical added to their current lashes. As part of the lift you will receive a tint too, which is ideal if your lashes are fair in anyway. 90% of my brides are chosing a lash ift as it's very low maintenance, good value and a long lasting effect.

It takes around an hour for the treatment from start to finish. All the images on this page are lash lifts by me.

It lasts 6 to 8 weeks depending on your lash cycle, as some lifts last longer than others.

Yes you can wear mascara over the top however many don't feel the need to, certainly for the first couple of weeks while the tint is still at maximum strength.

You can't wear waterproof mascara though as it can effect the perm. If you need to wear waterproof mascara (for your wedding etc) then apply a layer of traditional mascara first and then top with waterproof?

Lash lifts and tints are £40

Where does it take place?

Yes a patch test must take place prior to your first treatment with me. This will need to happen at least 48 hours prior to your treatment.

There are a few things to be aware of. You won’t be able to get your lashes wet for 24 hours after the treatment, this includes wearing mascara. So if you’re getting them done for an event, get them done 2 days before rather than the day before.

Comb through your lashes regularly in the 24 hours after the treatment, comb through before bed and when you wake up first thing in the morning. Avoid sleeping on your front for the first night

Don’t use oil based make-up removers (the one’s you mix together). The oils will reduce the effect of the perm and lift off the tint.

I currently only offer lash lifts from my home in Portishead. Parking available on the road

How often do I need to top up?

The beauty of this treatment is that it grows out naturally, so you don't have to top up if you don't want to. But it is a little bit addictive and if you do love the effect of the lift then I recommend rebooking every 8 weeks. It's best to book this appointment within 3 weeks of needing it to avoid disappointment as appointments go quickly.

Can I treat my lashes as normal after the treatment?
